K&P Auto Dismantlers and iPart Automotive are distributors of New OPTIONAL OEM parts, Quality recycled LKQ parts, CAPA & NSF certified aftermarket collision parts and reconditioned automotive parts. Our objective is to provide outstanding customer service, prompt delivery, a wide selection of quality parts, and provide warranties that encompasses our value to our customers. Our warranties provides the confidence and peace of mind that our business partners in the collision industry demands and should expect from a reputable automotive parts vendor. We offer a 90-day warranty for our recycled automotive mechanical parts. For our discerning customers that require an extra level of protection, we also offer an extended warranty plan for our OEM recycled mechanical parts, such as our quality tested engines and transmissions.

Quality Recycled Automotive Parts.

Due to the nature of a recycled part, unless it is stated otherwise on the invoice, parts and vehicles are sold “AS-IS “condition with no warranty, refunds, exchanges, and the parts cannot be returned. Please review your invoice carefully. For items that are covered by our warranty, coverage begins the day the part is purchased. K&P Auto Dismantlers offers a limited lifetime warranty on sheet metal parts, used headlights (bulbs and ballasts excluded from the warranty) and a 90-day non- transferable limited mechanical part warranty. We will either: repair, refund the purchase price or provide another part without charge at our sole discretion. Any warranty claim must have the original invoice, records of proper maintenance, and reference the collision center that performed the repair. We will investigate and inspect the alleged defective product prior to any warranty approval. Any form of reimbursement needed as a result of the failed part must be agreed upon in its entirety by K&P Auto Dismantler’s warranty department. We do not offer any form of reimbursement to install or remove parts. Buyer agrees to comply with all applicable laws to replace the purchased recycled part with a new VIN number if the part sold has an old VIN number on it. Below are our terms, stipulations, and conditions

RETURNS:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL AFTER 7 DAYS AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

NO RETURNS on electrical, core, special orders, overheated, altered, or disassembled part(s). SPECIAL ORDERS, to include auto body sections that are cut off, are not returnable. All refunds are subject to management approval. Parts returned not defective are subject to a 20% or $20 (whichever is greater) restocking charge. Some parts sold have a K&P marker on the product to identify our product sold. Part(s) returned must have "K&P" mark, otherwise parts are not returnable.

DEPOSIT:

50% deposit required on parts to be pulled or special order. Deposit s after 5 days are voided and NON-REFUNDABLE.

Limited Lifetime Warranty And Stipulations For Recycled Sheet Metal Parts; Our recycled sheet metal collision part will be free of defects in material, workmanship, and perforation for as long as the original purchaser owns the car. K&P Auto Dismantlers will not warranty any part as a result from improper installation, handling, or an accident involving the vehicle that the part was installed on. The warranty is voided if the vehicle is not registered and operating in the United States and Canada. The warranty for perforation is voided if caused by improper installation, accident, neglect, weather related conditions, use of cleaning solvents, polishing material or non-normal use of the vehicle.

Limited Warranty AndStipulations For Mechanical Parts;

Unless otherwise stated, K&P Auto Dismantlers offers a 90-day Non-Transferrable Limited Mechanical Warranty against product failure due to defect. USED ENGINE(S), TRANSMISSION(S) and AC PUMP(S): At the time of installation, customers are required to adhere to the following instructions where relevant and provide proof of documentation for warranty to be considered valid: Engine warranty is limited to defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers and oil pumps only. Additional parts provided with the purchase of the engine are considered additional and carries no warranty. Customers must adjust valve clearance, install new oil filters, pumps, transmission oil cooler, thermostat, spark plugs, replace all fluids with new recommended manufactures fluids, lubricants, and coolant. All belt-driving engines are required to be installed with new timing belts and set to correct manufactures timing settings before installation is done. Customer must perform a complete flush of the radiator, differentials, change new water hoses, water pump, and inspect and replace if necessary any and all filters, seals and gaskets. Customer must perform SAE standard operating procedure guidelines to reset and inspect the heating, cooling, hydraulic, and electrical systems as well as adjusting any mechanical parts/ mechanisms. If the part should fail, K&P Auto Dismantlers will replace, repair, or refund the purchase price at K&P Auto Dismantlers' sole option. K&P Auto Dismantlers reserves the right to replace failed parts with equal to or greater than original mileage parts. K&P Auto Dismantlers will not be responsible for safe transportation, securing products or insuring their security on your vehicle. Transport at your own risk.

Core:

Unless otherwise specified on the invoice, the original core must be returned complete within 15 days of purchase. If the core is not returned within 15 days of purchase, the warranty isvoided and the applied "core charge ($)" will not be returned.

Optional Purchase; 1 year extended limited warranty (12 months total from the date of purchase)

Our extended warranty covers product failure due to defective material for a total of 12 months from the date of purchase.

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

Labor costs, airbags, tires, seat belts and electric components. Warranty VOID if part is altered, disassembled, or heat tab has been removed, melted, or overheating. Any modifications which includes but not limited to parts/accessories installed onto the warranty part. Warranty claim must have an invoice & VIN. This warranty is valid for 15,000 miles or 1 year from the date of purchase, whichever comes first. K&P Auto Dismantlers reserve the right to inspect any part prior to refund or replacement. You must register your extended warranty within 10 days of purchase, if not, warranty will be VOID. To register, fax completed register form to 866-955-5347. It is recommended that you properly store your faxed documents as proof.

Voided Warranties and Exclusions:

This warranty does NOT cover failure due to improper maintenance, improper installation, poor workmanship, failure to inspect computer codes, failure by other critical components related to covered part, usage which the part was not intended for, racing, not adhering to manufacturer's recommended fluids, fluid levels, lubricants, and any associated labor costs. If an engine or part is overheated, the warranty will be voided and cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.

  • Any failure caused by installing and operating the vehicle in a condition which it was not intended for such as towing without manufacturer recommended towing equipment, competition, operating the vehicle in off- road conditions, adding any modifications such as a snow plow, and converting the private vehicle for any form of commercial, business or fleet use.
  • If the failure of the part was due to the vehicle being involved in an auto accident, fire, theft, weather related conditions, not properly maintained to manufacturer's specifications and maintenance intervals ( MUST SHOW PROPER PROOF OF DOCUMENTATION)
  • Transportation and freight cost are not included.
  • Unless specified, glass and suspensions are sold “AS -IS” and is not covered under any warranty.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM ("SRS") Airbags and Seat Belt Pretension System

K&P Auto dismantlers offers NO warranty on any recycled supplemental restraining systems such as airbags and seat belt pretension systems and is SOLD “AS-IS” condition. Buyer assumes all associated risks.

FOR A RECYCLED AIRBAGS & SEAT BELTS TO OPERATE PROPERLY, A QUALIFIED INSTALLER MUST INSTALL THE RECYCLED AIRBAGS & SEAT BELTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SRS VEHICLE MANUFACTURER’S SPECIFICATIONS. Any recycled airbag & seat belt that is not installed correctly will subject passengers in a vehicle to risks of serious injuries, including death. The purchaser of a recycled airbag assumes all risks of damages or injuries, including death, which may arise as a result of the improper installation of a recycled airbag & seat belt. K&P Auto Dismantlers makes absolutely NO warranty, express or implied, of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose in connection with any recycled airbags & seat belt. ALL RECYCLED AIRBAGS & SEAT BELTS ARE SOLD “AS IS”. Recycled airbags & seat belts are not tested by K&P Auto Dismantlers to meet any safety standards. The installer of a recycled airbag & seat belts must test whether the recycled airbag & seat belts will function properly. The purchaser of a recycled airbag & seat belts from K&P Auto Dismantlers agrees to accept all risks of damages or injuries, including death, relating to the use of a recycled airbag & seat belts.

Tires:

K&P Auto Dismantlers does not sell used tires. If a tire is on a wheel that you have purchased, it is required that you replace the tire with the vehicle manufacturer's suggested tire before operating the vehicle. K&P Auto Dismantlers absolutely does not offer any type of warranty, expressed or implied, as to the fitness for a general or particular purpose or of merchantability in connection with any used tires. K&P Auto Dismantlers does not test any used tire to meet any safety standard. Buyer assumes all associated risks.

New Optional OEM Surplus Collision Parts.

K&P Auto Dismantlers offers brand new, Optional OEM surplus collision parts. Our OPT OEM surplus collision parts meets all original equipment manufacturers exacting specifications in weight, measurements and density to ensure precise fit and finish for your vehicle. All Optional OEM collision parts comes with our limited lifetime warranty.

K&P Auto Dismantlers guarantees that any OPT OEM surplus collision parts will be free of defects in material, workmanship, and perforation (internal to external metal rust-through) for as long as the original purchaser owns the car. Should the OPT OEM surplus collision part fail, we will either repair, refund the purchase price, or provide a new part without charge at our sole discretion. Any warranty claims must have the original invoice, and reference the collision center that performed the repair. Any form of reimbursement needed as a result of the failed part must be agreed upon in its entirety by our warranty department.

Voided Warranty & Exclusions:

K&P Auto Dismantlers will not warranty any part as a result from improper installation, mishandling, or an accident involving the vehicle that the part was installed on. The warranty is voided if the vehicle is not registered and operating in the United States. Warranty for perforation is voided if caused by improper installation, accident, neglect, hazardous road and weather related conditions, use of cleaning solvents, polishing material and/or non-normal use of the vehicle.

CAPA and NSF Certified Aftermarket Collision Parts

Through iPart Automotive, we offer certified aftermarket collision parts that have better fitment and quality when compared to non certified aftermarket collision parts. The CAPA and NSF certification is a widely accepted standard for quality assurance in aftermarket parts and is approved for use by most if not all insurance agencies. All CAPA & NSF certified aftermarket collision parts come with our limited lifetime warranty.

iPart Automotive guarantees that any certified aftermarket collision part will be free of defects in material, workmanship, and perforation (metal rust-through) for as long as the original purchaser owns the car. Should the certified aftermarket part fail, iPart Automotive will either repair, refund the purchase price, or provide a new part without charge at iPart Automotive’s sole discretion. Any warranty claims must have the original invoice or reference the collision center that performed the repair. Any form of reimbursement needed as a result of the failed part must be agreed upon in its entirety by iPart Automotive’s warranty department. The following documents will need to be submitted for a claim in recovery of fees;

  • Photo of product not fitting properly on the vehicle with proper date and time stamp; and
  • Insurance claim number associated with the repair.

If the claim is approved, iPart Automotive will pay in accordance to the MOTORGUIDE® at a hourly rate of $25.00 for material loss only, no labor is included. It is highly recommended that you follow proper collision repair guidelines to test fit all products to ensure proper fit of the product. Any returns will be sent to a CAPA certification facility for re-test fitting.

Voided Warranty & Exclusions:

iPart Automotive will not warranty any part as a result from improper installation, mishandling, or an accident involving the vehicle that the part was installed on. The warranty is voided if the vehicle is not registered and operating in the United States. The warranty for perforation is voided if caused by improper installation, accident, neglect, weather related conditions, use of cleaning solvents, polishing material or non-normal use of the vehicle.

OEM Reconditioned Headlights, Taillights, Fog lights, Bumper Covers, Wheels & Reconditioning Services

iPart Automotive offers one of the largest selections of OEM reconditioned wheels, headlights, taillights, fog lights, and bumper covers for various makes and models in the Southern California region. iPart Automotive also offers collision centers convenient pickup and drop-off reconditioning services for automotive lighting products, front & rear bumper covers, and wheels up to 22 inches. We recondition only OEM products, and use only genuine, original OEM factory products. No Aftermarket products are ever used to recondition any of our OEM products. Before delivery, each part is inspected and all headlights are electronically tested for quality control. All reconditioned products sold has a limited lifetime warranty with the exception of chrome plated wheels that only has a 12 month warranty. The limited lifetime warranty is only valid for the original owner of the vehicle. Any warranty claims must have the original invoice or reference the collision center that performed the repair. Any form of reimbursement needed as a result of the failed part must be agreed upon in its entirety by iPart Automotive’s warranty department.

Reconditioned lighting products:

iPart Automotive guarantees that any reconditioned automotive lighting product sold will be free of defects in material workmanship from the date of purchase, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Reconditioning services performed on your automotive lighting products will also come with a limited lifetime warranty. Bulbs and Ballasts are excluded and not under any warranty. Should the reconditioned part fail, iPart Automotive will either: repair, refund the purchase price, or provide another part without charge at iPart Automotive’s sole discretion. Buyer is responsible for any cost related to reprogramming the headlights from the factory.

Reconditioned bumper covers:

iPart Automotive guarantees that any reconditioned bumper cover sold will be free of defects in material and workmanship for the life of the vehicle as long as the original owner owns the vehicle. Reconditioning services performed for your front or rear bumper covers will also be covered by our limited lifetime warranty. Should the reconditioned part fail, iPart Automotive will either: repair, refund the purchase price, or provide another part without charge at iPart Automotive’s sole discretion.

Reconditioned Wheels:

iPart Automotive guarantees that any reconditioned wheels sold will be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original owner owns the vehicle. Chrome plated wheels sold will carry a one year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Reconditioning services performed for your wheels is covered by our limited lifetime warranty. Reconditioning services for chrome plated wheels carry a one year limited warranty from the date of reconditioning service was rendered. Should the reconditioned part fail, iPart Automotive will either: repair, refund the purchase price, or provide a new part without charge at iPart Automotive’s sole discretion.

Voided Warranty & Exclusions:

iPart Automotive will not warranty any damaged part as a result from normal wear and tear, weather related conditions, use of cleaning solvents, polishing material, hazardous road conditions, road debris, improper installation, misuse, lack of proper maintenance, improper handling, operating the vehicle in a manner which is not intended and/ or an accident involving the vehicle that the part was installed in. The warranty is voided if the vehicle is operated in a manner that causes failure to the vehicle's warning devices and any modifications, additions, and/or removal of any part. The warranty does not cover light bulbs, ballasts, and any costs related to the removal and installation of any parts under warranty. We reserve the right to inspect the alleged defective product prior to any warranty approval. The warranty is voided if the vehicle is not registered and operating in the United States.

Aftermarket Automotive Cooling Products

Through iPart Automotive, we offer quality aftermarket radiators, condensers, cooling fans, and intercoolers for cars and trucks. iPart Automotive offers a limited lifetime warranty on any aftermarket cooling system components sold and guarantees that it will be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the car.

Should any of our aftermarket cooling products leak or fail as a result of a manufacture defect or workmanship, the original part must be returned to iPart Automotive for inspection prior to any warranty claim approval. Once approved by the iPart Automotive warranty department, we will either: repair, refund the purchase price, or provide a new part without charge at iPart Automotive’s sole discretion. Any warranty claims must have the original invoice, records of proper maintenance and reference the collision center that performed the repair. Any form of reimbursement needed as a result of the failed part must be agreed upon in its entirety by iPart Automotive’s warranty department.

Voided Warranty & Exclusions:

iPart Automotive will not warranty any cooling product part damaged as a result from improper installation, misalignment, mishandling, or an accident involving the vehicle that the part was installed on. The warranty is voided if the vehicle is not registered and operating in the United States. The warranty is also voided and not returnable if the part meets any of the following conditions:

  • Damage is caused from road and hazardous conditions such as rocks, gravel, and any debris.
  • Normal wear and tear of the part.
  • Lack of proper maintenance
  • Any damage to connection points as a result of improper installation or misalignment on any of our cooling products.
  • Vehicle is used for commercial, business, or fleet use.
  • Failure to properly repair any of the vehicle’s warning devices that are associated with the cooling system.

Warranty Requirements;

Our warranty department requires documentation to be submitted as proof for consideration of our warranty. This includes any documents to show proof of proper installation from the place of business. In addition, all the following conditions must be properly documented in order for the warranty to be considered valid.

  • The cooling system must be flushed and filled with new coolant to the vehicle manufacturer's recommended coolant mixture.
  • A full diagnostics of the vehicle to eliminate any possible electrolysis and corrosion.
  • All electronic, cooling or mechanical components related to the vehicle's cooling system must be verified in working condition and operational. These parts include, but are not limited to radiators, condensers, intercoolers, sensors,hoses, fan motors, orifice tubes, gauges, thermostats, pumps, and monitoring devices.
  • All new hoses and connections relating to the cooling system and must be checked for leaks and held in vacuum for 45 minutes.
  • When applicable, you must use new manufacture required fluids and lubricants such as refrigerants, oils, or hydraulic fluids.
  • When applicable, you must check or replace additional components relating to the warrantied cooling product such as any compressors, accumulators, the correct amount of OEM specified fluids and any gaps to prevent lock up,
  • Flushing the AC System with a manufacturer approved solvent, replacing any expansion tanks

  • Under no circumstance will we accept a return if our original new product is not in new condition, or has been used or installed onto a vehicle.
  • No returns will be allowed if there is any trace of Freon in the cooling product.
  • Unless there is a manufacturer defect, any cooling products installed onto a vehicle are non returnable.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER: :By purchasing and using any parts sold from K&P Auto Dismantlers and iPart Automotive, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold K&P Auto Dismantlers and iPart Automotive, its officers, officials, employees harmless from any and all claims, injuries, damages, losses or suits including attorney fees, arising out of or in connection with the performance of the parts bought from K&P Auto Dismantlers and iPart Automotive. Buyer hereby understands that any liability of K&P Auto Dismantlers and iPart Automotive from all causes shall be limited to the price paid for the goods sold or provided. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE APPLICABLE TO THIS PART IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. NEITHER K&P AUTO DISMANTLERS OR IPART AUTOMOTIVE SHALL BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY, DAMAGE FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF INCOME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
